Maids of Hartford's Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Maids of Hartford LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, booking a service, or receiving services from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Maids of Hartford LLC provides residential and commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to:

  • General Cleaning

  • Deep Cleaning

  • Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning

  • Airbnb / Short-Term Rental Turnovers

  • Add-on and specialty cleaning services
     

Service scope varies by service type and is outlined at the time of booking.

2. Booking & Scheduling

  • All services must be scheduled in advance through our website, phone, or approved booking platform.

  • Appointment times are estimated arrival windows, not guaranteed exact times.

  • Clients must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time.
     

Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee.

3. Payments

  • Payment is due prior to or at the time of service, depending on the service type.

  • We accept approved electronic payment methods only.

  • Prices are based on the information provided at booking.
    Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in price adjustments.
     

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in service refusal.
     

5. Satisfaction Guarantee & Re-Clean Policy

Your satisfaction matters to us.

  • If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

  • We may offer a re-clean of the affected areas at our discretion.

  • Re-cleans do not apply to:

    • Areas not included in the booked service

    • Wear and tear, permanent stains, or damage

    • Services declined or skipped by the client
       

Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
 

6. Safety & Working Conditions

Clients agree to provide:

  • A safe and reasonable working environment

  • Functioning utilities (electricity, water)

  • Secured pets during service

  • Clear access to cleaning areas

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe or unsanitary.
 

7. Damages & Liability

  • We take great care while servicing your home.

  • Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Normal wear and tear

    • Items not properly secured

    • Damage resulting from faulty or delicate items

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
 

8. Breakage, Wear & Tear

Some items naturally wear over time. Maids of Hartford LLC is not responsible for:

  • Loose fixtures

  • Fragile or unstable items

  • Damage caused by improper installation

  • Blinds, artwork, antiques, or delicate surfaces unless disclosed in advance
     

9. Service Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Harassment or abuse of staff

  • Repeated cancellations or non-payment

  • Misrepresentation of service needs
     

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and protect your personal information.
 

11. Website Use

All content on this website is the property of Maids of Hartford LLC and may not be copied or used without permission.
 

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
